Cardiac Rehab

Role spans across the cardiology field.

Mainly deals with ACS.

Assists Physicians and GP’s by ensuring quality care in an appropriate time for cardiac patients.

Runs assessments clinics for patients prior to entering the cardiac rehabilitation programme.

Responsible for co-ordinating referrals for cardiac rehabilitation phase II.

Responsible for co-ordinating TDH’s cardiac rehabilitation programme.

Responsible for assisting ward doctors and nurses with phase I education.

Responsible for organising and co-ordinating outpatient cardiac investigations, i.e. nuclear medicine scans, angiograms, trans oesophageal echoes, EP studies and cardiac surgery.

Responsible for organising and co-ordinating the visiting cardiologist clinics, monthly.
