Diabetes Nurse Specialist

I work as a diabetes nurse specialist at TDH and also in Primary health. I work with people across their lifespan for example pregnant mothers with diabetes and children and adults. I am involved in theeducation process to the client and whanau/family. I believe by having knowledge and self empowerment skills people with diabetes can lead a full and active life and by gaining control of their diabetes can help prevent complications later in life.
