Education Co-ordinator

Hi, my name is Robyn Dymock. I am the Co-ordinator for Education and Professional Development and based at Gisborne Hospital and report to Lynsey Bartlett the Director of Nursing.

It is my role to support all nurses in the Tairawhiti region with their education and professional development requirements and I work closely with many groups, organisations and nursing colleagues.

This new role was developed as the result of research in 2007 by a group of senior nurses and midwives - it is exciting and challenging role, one which has the potential to make a significant difference for nursing within all sectors of the nursing workforce in Tairawhiti.

I have a strong background in Primary Health Nursing and am pleased now to be able to support nurses and nursing for the future benefit of our community.
